About Our Mission

The Caregiver Playbook is a California nonprofit organization based in Fresno, California. Our
mission is to advocate for caregivers and teach self-advocacy by providing education, resources, and
community support to families navigating caregiving and benefits systems.

Educational and Informational Purpose Only

Everything we provide, including our website content, guides, blog posts, and consultations, is for
general educational and informational purposes only.

We are not attorneys, doctors, accountants, or licensed benefits counselors, and nothing we share
should be taken as legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. We do not provide legal advice
or legal representation. Using our Site or speaking with us does not create an attorney-client
relationship, a provider-patient relationship, or any other professional relationship.

Benefits programs such as IHSS, Medi-Cal, Medicare, Regional Center services, and VA programs
are complex, change over time, and depend on your individual situation. Always confirm important
decisions with the appropriate agency or a qualified professional. We encourage you to use our
resources as a starting point, not as a substitute for official guidance.

Consultations

Consultations with us are free. These conversations are informational and supportive in nature. They
do not guarantee any specific outcome, eligibility, approval, or result with any agency or program.

Where We Serve

The Caregiver Playbook is currently based in and primarily serves California. We are working to
expand our services to additional states, and we will update this page as our service area grows.

Resources and Purchases

Some guides and resources are available through third-party platforms such as our Stan Store. Any
purchase you make through those platforms is subject to that platform’s own terms, pricing, and
refund policies. Please review them before buying.

Use of Our Content

The content on this Site, including our text, guides, blog posts, and original graphics, is created for
The Caregiver Playbook. You are welcome to view and share it for personal, non-commercial use,
with credit to The Caregiver Playbook. Please do not copy, reproduce, sell, or redistribute our content
for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Our name, logo, and tagline identify The Caregiver Playbook and the work we do. Please do not use
them in any way that suggests affiliation with or endorsement by The Caregiver Playbook without our
permission.
Some content on the Site may belong to others and be used with permission. That content remains
